Joy has the natural gift of making people feel at ease. Extremely patient and known for her laugh, smile, and sparkling personality, Joy enables her subjects to feel at home in front of her camera. Joy is highly regarded by her clients for bringing out the most beautiful and stunning aspects of their personalities and capturing them on film. With an award winning background in painting and fine art, Joy received her BFA in Photography while studying with the Tisch School of Photography in Maui, Hawaii. She then perfected her shooting skills while apprenticing under the leading children’s commercial photographers in New York City and on fashion shoots with: Vogue Town & Country Johnson & Johnson Baby Cookie Child Parents Scholastic Neiman Marcus Glamour She is currently working on a children’s storybook and lives in New York City.
